Hey as many of you know i have a pool gap in my back yard and i am feeling that it needs a renovation. I am for sure going to move the rail over to one of the sides to make more room for tricks down the gap. But since I have to move it i can easily change the rail in the process. The rail that i have in now is the one in the picture. But i am thinking that i could put a pvc down rail in there and have fun on that for a while. What do you guys think?

Keep that rail?

Put a pvc rail in?

here is a link to a small vid with some riding in it, it is my bro and I

http://vimeo.com/7778576

The trick is a fs nose.

Both? One on each side with middle open? But that's beautiful... Cool

ZackFL(BRE), that would be amazing and that is what i want, but the pond is just not wide enough to accommodate that.

cjbecker, I kinda figured it must not be wide enough.. cause if it was I'm sure you wouldn't even need to ask for opinions.

yea it kinda sucks that we cant put 2 rails in there, it is possible, but you would be landing so close to the side of the pond. ouch.

i would say make all of the rails portable / removable. Once you have the rail stuck on one side, you will get bored and want it on another.

You should make some permanent, pre-dug postholes on either side and then two or three different rails that you can drop in and out. (Similar to the handrail at the berrics). Just lift it out and drop the new one in on either side to change it up every once in a while, shouldnt take more thatn 2 or 3 people to do.

What about a curved rail to get super steezy on? Then you could have it be a little outside the pond but still land in it as you'll be coming in at an angle.
