I normally do unless it's deep water... Have you almost been knocked out yet? After getting smoked in the face by boards a few times and almost knocking myself out I started wearing my vest more often. _________________ -Paul |

Theres been a number of people who have died from getting knocked out by their board and they werent wearing a life vest so the boat couldnt find them until their dead body resurfaced.
Moral of the story is dont be that dumb ass, you may not like wearing a vest but they come through if you ever find yourself in a bad position like injuring yourself or getting knocked out. |

agreed.
It doesn't take much to hurt your knee on a wakeskate. It sucks to be in pain and try to not move your knee but still have to tread water keep afloat. |

Vests are not for swimming. They are for floating your near lifeless body until help arrives. CGA vests (in theory) will float you face up.
Just a thought. _________________ The above are opinions of NotSoBueno, based on NotSoBueno's life experiences and are not reflective of the opinions of wakeskating.com, posters on wakeskating.com, or readers of threads on wakeskating.com. |

They might, but they aren't designed to do so. Type 3 Pfds just have 15 pounds of floatation and three points of closure. |
