umm its kinda weird with them only on one side because then when yu do a 180 shuvit youre riding finless it makes no sense to only ride one fin id ride ttwo but personally i ride finless with the fins thouhg its gonig to be a bit harder for you to spin the board on shuvit tricks, however it will maybe help keep you more stable with ollies and wake to wakes

andy ross, I am preety sure you will like to ride with a fin, it makes you pop your tricks better and gives you like a fakie skateboard feel when you do a shuvit or 180. Ever wonder why most of the pros ride with 1 or 2 fins? Well bottom line, ride your skate the way you like to ride it.

I would use the basic integ fins for the nose slide ones. They look tough enough

I might give riding a fin another try, been a while since I did it lol

2 fins gives you confidence and stability. It makes you pop your tricks bigger. 1 fin would seem confusing.
No fins are so loose, not for me. I don't know how you guys do it.

Do whatever is most comfortable

yea i think the one fin especially helps with kickflips. cause you can get away with more, like you can be more aggresive on the pop and the board wont move as much.

see if this makes sense, you can pop with more pressure on your toes without it slipping behind you. this will cause the board to angle upward slightly on your heelside, where you flick. so you have more leverage, and the board is right there, reducing the need to mob at all. then again if you have a bilevel the concave is rediculous so its already easy as hell to flick it naturally.

but anyways, flicking doesnt only look better, it keeps the board more level, and because you are not kicking down, the board continues on its upward path with less interruption than a mob, so you catch it higher. (unless of course you are drew m.)

oh and note, theres a difference between just pressing the side of your foot to the board, and actually flicking. (i.e. kickflips in flatline vs. hampson's)

I took a file to the integtrity fins for nosepress's, as they're pretty long and close to the end, sand them down about 1cm and round off the point a bit and it's easier to get the nose down.
