electricsnow, agreed. . .that why I think peopl eofferin gopinons based on boards that are nothe on ehes asking about are point less. . . . basically

Catalyst - is concave and more durable w/o question, how ever some people dislike the shape of the concave, so obviously this is a risk, but it does have softer edges, and more weight than the Kampus

K-39 - is an awesome board great edging due to the parallel edges, and loads of pop due to the wide tail profile, a very good basic board however it is a flat, some people prefer flats, most agree however that concave is preferable

both are foam so they will be a bit of a pain to swap to grip, and both IMO are beat out by the Byerly, Integ, and the Bi (based on ride alone durability issues of the bi aside) however between the two I myself preferred the catalyst, but htats just me hopefully you can take this info and put it to good use I think either way you'll end up witha decent skate. . . . . . . .from a purely ethical standpoint Kampus would be the better choice however.

well, if you really want a concave, like me, get the K39 and get some removeable kicktails for it.. or just make some.

I know everyone on here says support rider owned companies, but I really enjoy riding the new Hype skates. I would say go with the Catalyst.
