Dave can kickflip. See, seeing all of these people that can kickflip is so cool. It just shows how far things have come...I remember when a kickflip on a wakeskate was "big news." And it's still cool, but you know, they're becoming the norm.

i have moments were i think ill get it soon but last time i went out i wasnt close. I HATE THEM NASTY THINGS. my roomate kirby can kickflip. skate vans on here can kickflip good. kyle hyams and basino still cant. i think haveing a strong skate back ground hinders them. like depending on how you kickflip but for me i pop and flip the board on the up and catch at the peak or right before and then land. and on a skate you dont have the motion of the nose going really high so not only is it a diferent kick but also a patience game. pop.....downword mob kick.land. i dunno thats my opinion.

yeah like my roomate does kickflips on his skate board and they arent ever really poped and ive seen him do em with accidently not hitting the tail on the ground. i rarely dont pop mine and if i dont pop it than i usssually dont land it. im so used to getting the nose up and kicking more forward and out. on a wakeskate its such a pop and mob down quickly and im not comfortable with that at all. i work on them with a skate deck on the carpet and a wakeskate on a tramp. but its hard to transfer it but it helps.

headhuntermx4, you summed it up well. When i used to skateboard, mob was the ugliest thing you could possably do (besides backpeddling)so i would consentrate on avoiding it. In my opinion thats the only way you can learn kflips on a wakeskate. Its hard for me to do because im so used to popping and flicking. That more downward kick just gives me a head ache. If you havent guessed i cant kickflip but i want one sooooo bad.
