So I'm planning on building my own concave eventually. I've seen this sweet thread about building which has giving me enough info on how to build it

http://www.wakeskating.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2317&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

I've only been riding wakeskates for a little while, and my question is how do different shapes ride? I'm thinking about building one slightly wider nose and tail because i'm guessing this will help ollies... How will it effect edging though? The only skates I have riden are a Cassette concave (just once, my friends) and a cassette 42 flat

They give you more stability and pop and they make flip tricks soooo much easier. You feel more on the skate with concave as opposed to flat skates.

YOUR feet sit in the board as apposed to on the board.

be creative test some stuff and see what works.

(DIY) do it yourself, and for yourself and it will be a good board no matter what the outcome.

good luck

A wider nose allows you to carry the board up and into the wind on your ollies. The 04 Reed has a wide nose and I love it.
