Ill tell you why wakeboarding magazine is just another media ran by the people who have money. I came across a little video reveiw in WBM on "fill in the blanks". Let me say i was disapointed by what they had to say. There was a colomn labled "things to watch for". Well knowing that ryan lemons hardflip would have to be one of those "things", i was pissed when i saw it wasn't one of the things. Yea thats right i guess who cares about some stupid hardflip...i mean my grandma can do those. Gosh i swear...this magazine is takeing the sport in the wrong direction. F wakeboarding mag.

revolutionconcepts, Just another reason why it is important people support the right companies that are out there for the right reasons.

If we are all able to work together and keep the money amongst the people trying to better the sport we will be able to keep the sport in a positive direction and the waterski companies will loose the majority of their control.

I have to admit that review sucked... it says the basino did a 90 shuv out of the kampus towable rail but really it was steve wahlman... The things to look out for section of that review was a joke... but revolutionconcepts, I dont think WBM is taking the sport into the wrong direction just because some lady did a bad review on a video Rolling Eyes

like give me a break... I personaly like WBM is a great mag when when at its best can get some good info and wakeskating pics in it...

personaly i think the info in the magazine is usually old news by the time i read it. And as far as taking our sport anywhere...well it isn't taking our sport anywhere. They aren't out uncovering new riders. They are stuck on the riders that people can identify with, like scott byerly brian grub and so on. Im not saying these guys shouldn't get coverage...cause they should they are awesome. But come on give some more people a chance to surface...everyone knows there are tons of awesome riders out there that could give byerly and grubb a run for there money (im not picking on these guys only using them as an example).

You are right i shouldn't blame the magazine on some small review...or should i?

I love wakeskating but i refuse to allow my boy lemons to go unrecognized for something that was worth recognition. Not only him but also the others here in orlando that go unrecognized...

i disagree......if it wasnt for wbm the sport wouldnt be where it is today, and without it wont be where it will be in the future. the reason no more riders have been surfaced is because nobody is coming close to touching the elites of the sport, aka grubby, byerly etc. i believe once somebody shows enough talent and promise they will be all over it. but so far no one has really come close. as far as the ladies review of fill in the blanks, i mean, was it really her fault for writing a bad review that wasnt correct? i mean honestly, who could actually watch the whole movie? she probably got bored and wrote a half assed review, we all have dips in our professions, so this was hers. give her a break. i personally love reading wbm, and feel they do a great job at pushing the sport further, and further. i think beachfuzz feels that wbm is making it to mainstream, like, you know when you love a band and they get famous? i believe he is going through the same thing right now. but you sombeach have to understand that without wbm covering wakeskating, and pushing it, cool things wont happen. wbm gives wakeskating money and sponsers and what not. so stop hating on wbm we should all be thanking them for helping our community. p.s. grubb rules!!!!!

haywoodstheman, there are a sh*t load of riders that are hitting the elite. Just look in the video here in the media center....

revolutionconcepts, i dont know about wakeboarding mag but in the alliance wakeboarding mag it had a half a page about the loui ripper landing the hardflip. not to say alliance is anybetter
