i'd say more like 50K-ish. if its only a year old, it wont depreciate in value all that much. it also has a lot to do with how many hours are on the boat and what kind of condition its in. all in all id say expect to pay 45-50 for an 04/05 x-star. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

I just checked boat-trader and the used 04/05 X-stars were in the high 50's lower 60's. Maybe an 03' would be high 40's. Just telling ya what I found

If you find a used Xstar for the high 40's low 50's then it either has extrememly high hours, or it has seen alot of salt water, or something is wrong with it. If none of these seem to be true, jump on it. Other than that you will seriously bee spending high 50s or low 60s on one. _________________ "I tried sniffing coke once, but the icecubes got stuck in my nose" |

For what you are going to pay for a Used X star you can Buy A Brand New CENTURION for and it is built ten times Better. And you don't have to load 10,000 lbs of saks just to get a clean wake. Go research some Centurions for the price of the x star you could buy a used centurion 1 year old and a new truck to pull it. _________________ RIDE FOR THE LOVE OF THE SPORT

idk about yall but i dont like those kindda people that much.....at all. maybe cuz theres so many people that work hard as hell with little or no boats at all and still progress the way they do (like me) and then people like that get stuff handed to them and will probably give up the sport by the end of the season at the longest. does anyone else feel this way?? or am i the only one with this oppinion

TYLER**, I agree, its irks me, but theres nothing that can be done. Some people just have crazy amounts of cash to throw around. Atleast they are putting it into our sport, i guess.

WCWC, Inc, ok i may not like MC at all but to say that Centurion can even jump into the ring with them is not true... Go to any dealer(excluding centurion) and I guarantee you they will tell you that their boats are crap, and most dealers will tell you what is good and what isn't or you are just boat savvy and you know... We told a dealer a story about an Air Warrior we watched sink at Berryessa and his reply was "can't blame them" and every dealer even BU had good stuff to say about MC, but they did mention you buy the name and less quality but still better than Centurion anyday and it keeps them in the Big 3. _________________

WCWC, Inc, Yo man think of that why Parks ride a star instead of a centurion. I think it just because he design it, yeah i know he get a lot of money from them... But I ride a lot of boat in my life like malibu, nautiques, jet boat,bayliner,X-5,X9, and the best still the star cause the new got a perfect clean wave however u load it think about 385hp cadiallac,10 ballast.... I mean for wakeboard it's the best boat i ever seen. Hasardly i'm doing wkesk8 so... _________________

Buy a boat that you can afford to put as much gas in as you want. In summer that might be two-three hundred a month - I would rather own a Centurian with gas cash than a Mastercraft and no cash!
