I'm 99% sure that was Davie boy himself... You know what, cool. I respect that you run a website, but I have none for how it represents the wake scene. That's my opinion, take it for what it's worth...

Firstly Dave, I know that you will see this, but you won't respond because you dont have the balls. I think its rather pathetic when a washed up "internet tough guy" Has to A: resort to "name calling" or B: sending me an email wich contained my address in an attempt to scare me off... (not shure of the legality there Dave, I don't recall ever giving you my information...) Oh no you know where I live? What are you gonna do punch me? Because then you could go hang out with your buddy Billj for asulting a minor. Seriously you have little integrity, my theory still holds up perfectly, although you dont advertize for Hyperlite exclusively you do take money from shops who push hypershite on everyone.(and like you wouldn't accept a little something something from under the table.) Obviously its not that crazy of an idea seeing as how even you could manage to link together that one. So tough guy, you know where I live, do you want a cookie? Do you want to meet in person sometime to "talk things out" ? No, because you are nothing but a blowhard. Oh no Mr. Williams please don't ban me from your site with an over wealth of usless propaganda (I don't want to live in a world where I cant ride my Parks wakeboard with my parks bindings, the wakeboarding world is so scary outside of Hypershite.). At least Wakeboarder.com and Wakeskating.com, Pat and Dave respectively have enough integrity to allow REAL discussions to happen even if it might impact their wallets. You censor people for what they say (if it goes against the "DAVE IS ALLWAYS RIGHT, EXPEICALLY IF ITS NEGITIVE ATTENTION ON AN ADVERTISER" it must be delted clause. It doesn't have to break any of your rules.) Please Dave, you banned Jumalian for what? Oh yeah he posted Links to Wakeboarder.com? OH NO!!! Yet, although it RARELY happens there are infact links back to ww.com, and guess what?! PAT DOESNT BAN THE USERS!!!! What a novel idea, playing fair.
Good luck with your "Legit" wakeboarding site Dave, and I'll see you tomarow, but dont worry this time It will be less obvious. Maybe you and I will meet some day...  Wait you know where I live so why don't you just come on up.

Dragon88, if you really think that I'm taking money "under the table" to modify the results of our Riders Choice Awards, I don't know what to tell you. There isn't much more I can do to convince you that they are legit short of hiring an accounting firm to audit the results. However, I don't see that happening anytime soon on our budget.
As far as Joe's banning is concerned, it wasn't because he posted links to Wakeboarder.com. I'm sorry that you were misled. If you do a search for "wakeboarder.com" on our discussion board, it returns 304 results. You'll notice that none of the users that have posted these links or references has been banned from the site. Referencing Wakeboarder.com is not against the rules of our forum.
I'm sorry you disagree with the way we run WakeWorld. I'm glad that there are other fine websites like Wakeboarder.com and Wakeskating.com that are able to satisfy your needs in this area. It's always great to have a wide variety of choices so that everybody can be happy. |
