I'm going to try and find some time after next week when I get back from a small vacation to rip some of the DVDs I have into a better quality including Asterisk and a few others and if we get permission from those people/company behind them I'll look into uploading them on a DropBox setup or vimeo/youtube for people to enjoy.

I have a few DVD's as well that I can rip once i get that back next week from a friend. I will see what I have. If I have any ones unlisted, I will try to get permission to upload.

man, in that case you really need to see some of the wakeskating in the old wakeboarding videos southpaw. It is crazy to see how different the styles were when it came do the dudes riding chopped down wakeboards. Or even comparing the old hyperlite promo video for their waterskate, and then see Thomas and drew riding the cassettes. totally crazy--it's obvious who got it and what direction wakeskating ultimately went.

electricsnow, I've seen a lot of those videos through the years, I even have Decline and I remember reading or hearing Thomas explain the wakeboard part to start had the red tint to signify like no to wakeboarding, and then when his wakeskate part starts it's normal tint like come to the light haha. And how he runs off the dock to show his feet are free

I don't think I've seen the old hyperlite promo video though

Would just be cool to watch all the full length movies in order, like a wakeskate history marathon or something

i will rip volume 2 when i get them back this week.
are you just recording it while you watch it?
I use MakeMKV, which is free right now, and it will do a 1 to 1 rip in .mkv format. Same quality with no loss.

Thanks Lollar, Asterisk was huge to me when it came out.

Watching it again it's crazy to see how Aaron, Danny and Thomas were on a whole different level than the others.
