winch?

hey ive seen a bit about winches on this site and wasnt completely sure how they work. are they just another means of towing? can somebody please explain, thanks

a winch is a machine that has a high torque motor on it that is attached to a huge spool of line. it works much the same as a winch would on a car, but can pull you much faster, 20mph. It allows riders to ride in things they wouldnt be able to get a boat in like a creek or dranage ditch or small pond. It is also a fairly inexpensive option for someone who cant afford a boat (kids)

The ReWind Winch Company is the first and original winch company. Everyone says they're too expensive, but you definettely get what you pay for...

For the most part, all the winches used in videos and magazines are ReWind Winches.

I get the final word on my loan 2 weeks from this coming monday, and as far a ReWind, they do make a good winch, and they are the original, but I am going to run a better motor better clutch, and a brake system, and I can still make it for less so I guess time will tell.seven11dmd, couldn't explain it myself any better

there scared of competition kento911, winch is going to school theres and he seems like the kind of dude that would let you ride behind his before you had to drop a bazillion dollars on one, hes more about helping everyone and not just lining his pockets

PIRATE,LOL thanks dude, but Im not mother Theresa, I am going to see a little scratch outta these, probably 100 bucks a winch and besides,Chris41, doesn't represent ReWind, so it's kinda unfair to judge them based on that, but that is why Im confused as to why I get ducked every time I ask for their number, and yeah if you can come out here you can ride it when it's done, I don't expect anybody to buy sight unseen, and for those of you that can't make it, we are going to set up a little teaser, so you can see som people riding it, and the winch itself actually working

considering that you van deep water the ReWind, and my winch has a hydralic trans and more horse power, Im pretty sure it will be possible
