Gas money

My boat only takes about 18 gallons of gas but i cant be spending 35 bucks every weekend to me taking my friends out. They are refusing to pay for gas. Is it wrong to be charging people gas money?

If they go with you every weekend or quite often then yeah, I would make them pay, but if you are just inviting them to come along every once in a while, then I don't think they should have to. You wouldn't charge your friend to crash at your house for a night if they were traveling through town would ya?

your boat doesnt run of thank yous it runs off gas so yes get money and if they refuse just dont take them

if you go out with ppl on their boat u are obligated to pay somewhat for the gas. even a few dollars is useful. if i were u i wouldnt be taking them if they are refusing to put in money.

Mr. Top Hat, alright, i agree, if i didnt have a boat that it took u on all the time in repayment for u taking me on your boat i would pay u, but i take u on my boat all the time jsut like u take me on your ski all the time so i think it equals out and i would never ask or want u to pay gas money bro. And if u gunna start making me pay, u arnt coming on my boat and im not coming on yours. sorry.

Most everyone that rides with me is good about paying. It takes 50 bucks a day to run it and everyone usually puts in 5 bucks a pull.

most people pay on my boat, but I find it amazing how many people just don't even think about it. gas for the truck and boat is ALOT and I aint rich

So was this topic really about a conflict between -=AlexXx=- and Mr. Top Hat?

When I had my boat, I would treat people sometimes, but my regular crew always put in for gas. And I always offer gas money when I go ride with someone else. It is mandatory to offer to pay for some of the gas when someone takes you riding.

i see where the argument stemmed from....

my two friends have dads that both have company gas cards so i dont have to pay when i go with them, but everyone else its either gas money, or bring some grub or buy the grub after, that makes everyone happy as well
