I'm pretty sure that was Andy Kolb riding the remote. He was also wearing a knee brace.
That park looks so fun |

It is my board but it's not me.
Daniel's good friend Didi Anwar from Bangkok is doing the Varial Heel off the kicker.
The trick before that is James Harrington aka Mini from the UK.
Daniel ist still riding for Obscura. Killing it on the TAO. |

Andy K., do you think you'll make a wakeskating film? Nice work on the debut! _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

I would love to make a wakeskate film because I love wakeskating.
Unfortunately this won't happen unless someone pays me a decent amount of money.
I lost all my money making The Debut and I still owe money to other people.
So right now I can only take jobs that pay well. |

If you've watched The Debut, you will know that time, travel and money were put into that project. I really liked the way it turned out, so congrats Andy K.!!
And I'm assuming that he wouldn't want to make a wakeskate movie without putting in the same time, travel, money and effort that he did for The Debut. So in other words, it would not be just a spare time project. |

Andy K., I know the feeling. I lost a lot of money filming Ride Among Us from travel, equipment and post production costs. It was an awesome experience, but all that work for no pay can really hurt an individual.
Have you thought about talking with companies like GoPro to help sponsor your equipment and travel. With a film like the The Debut it could really help you sell your skill to companies.
Purchasing a copy of The Debut now man, just to have at my house for the wakeboard junkies. Looking forward to seeing your work. |

I'm not a wakeboarder, but I really dig the dudes in that film. I don't know if the tin dvd/blu ray combo will be sold everywhere, but I bought mine through sesitec. A bit more expensive, but I dig the packaging. It reminds me of the snowboarding film lame.
it would be cool if a wakeskating video worked out for you andy k! I'd love to see a video from you. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

It's not as easy as it sounds.
I'm a perfectionist and to make it perfect you need a lot of money.
After The Debut I would never invest my personal money in a project again.
Right now I don't own a camera, computer or car.
Besides that I have problems entering the USA so I would need a proper visa which isn't cheap either.
I'm pretty much stuck in Germany, riding my bike to the skatepark and the cable every day. |

Andy K., Hey I never even heard of your film. I just checked it out and it is great! How did you advertised it? I prefer watching cable over anything, including boat and winch.
mank the tank, Hey that sucks you lost money as well on Ride Among Us. Do you have any cable wake skating in it? _________________ www.cablewakezone.com |
