Hey everyone,
First off, just wanted to say NCC was awesome. Looking forward to spring NCC.
Second, I was looking for some opinions/advice.
I'm at a job right now where I can't afford to get hurt so I gotta try and take it easy. But I have a boat now and am riding regularly so i was thinking of taking this time to try and get some basic tricks dialed.
So what tricks do you guys think you should have on lock before going to tricks like bigspins, kickflips, wake to wake spins, etc?

the most simple would be front and backside shuvs. also dont forget about front and backside 180s. lipslides would also be a good starting point. as for the wake you could learn wake to wakes and once your comfortable with that you can move on to grabs..but just have fun and try to progress how you want to Smile

Ride Switch more(will come in handy as you progress)
Work popping regular and switch ollies(^)
Tying a water jug to a brick and setting it out helps with giving you something to ollie over. (This will help later on with being able to time when to ollie to get on an obstacle or throw a trick over a gap.)
Surface 180's and 360's (FS and BS)
Body varial's
slide the wake (both sides)
FS/BS 180's (work both heelside and toeside)
I/O-Heelside and Toeside(do grabs tweak it make it look stylish)
Once comfortable going I/O start doing 180 toeside and heelside
get that down throw a grab on it tweak it

*This is my opinion as to what I think will help the most with your riding with out putting you at risk of severe injury. I wrote this without knowing your current riding capabilities. You don't have to do these in order start with what you feel comfortable with. Also I probably left out a few things just have fun and ride as often as possible the more you ride the better you will become.

shuvs to lip slides are fun, and I think they look good too. Not a big risk of injury there...

learn to ride switch so good that people don't know if your regular or goofy!

once you learn a new trick, immediately learn it switch.
