jcoffey, Hopefully, we're working on shirts too. Been super busy getting Issue 1.2 done so we could have it out at surf expo. We were stoked to be able to print double the amount of copies and can't wait for you guys to see it.

Frye, it's a tricky situation being such a new magazine but we really haven't had any problems with ads yet..

Thanks for all of the support dudes, it's coming along better than we could have ever imagined and we couldn't do it without the readers and our advertisers!

Frye, I actually designed a few of the ads in the magazine and cleaned up whatever I could (if the advertisers were on board)... but like you said, putting the mag together is a huge project in itself so I could only focus on it so much. We can't really be picky with the ad content so early in the game because the ads are what pay for the magazine. Our team isn't making jack, all of the money goes back into the zine and to the photographers.

All of the companies were extremely stoked to be a part of the first issue and we felt the same way towards them. It's definitely a learning process for all of us. I think it's going to take a few issues for advertisers to see the standard of quality we are striving for and hopefully once things get going, they will want to put more time into their ads, because at the end of the day it's only going to make their company look better.

I got my first issue today. To be honest, when I first saw it I was disappointed in the size (not expecting that) but truthfully after opening the package and seeing the cover all disppointment was gone. After going through it a few times, I really believe we are in an amazing part of wakeskating. This is a great addition at a much needed time. Anyone that has not subscribed needs to.

If I wasn't old and sucked, I'd be all about trying to get a shot in this mag. Its very obvious this mag is representing the right way and most likely history in the making. Good things are here so definitley support these guys .

Email kyle@thewakeskatemag.com and if we still have any copies of the first issue, I'm sure it won't be a problem. We only printed 1,000 copies though so they are pretty limited.
