Guys, our board prices have increased, but I assure you they are a completely different board and have had to increase because of the materials being used in the process. Yes the old remote's had issues and did break more often, but I hope everyone by now knows that was a different factory. Like any small company we had growing pains finding the right factory ( in the USA ) to build a good board that the team liked and that wouldn't break. Our team was going through so many boards it would have eventually put us out of business. Moonshine MFG is out of Oregon and builds multiple products, surf boards, kite boards, paddle boards, and yes wakeboards. They have been the best factory I have ever dealt with in the US and we (Ben and I) really needed to have a good MFG so we could deal with "Remote", the team, trips, a team video, and other products. Instead of dealing with broken boards and warranty's all the time. At the end of the day we needed a board that we could stand behind. We honestly needed a board that Ben wouldn't break every week haha. I assure you guys that we are making the bare minimum on these boards and that the price only reflects the newer materials used and costs to make the board tough enough to withstand any of our riders abuse and to last normal abuse from the consumer. No one on our team has broken a remote deck from our current factory. Yes after time of hitting concrete ledges for a long time you may wear the product down, but once again not one of our team riders has snapped a remote deck. In the end the price reflects a great product and is the price to support your local shop. We believe in every local shop doing there part whether it be a cable or just a store front these guys are a big reason why wakeskating is growing and strong as it is today. We will never cut them out that is why we always claim "Support your local shop" just as you should with anything you really believe in. I hope everyone can see that we are here to support wakeskating no matter what brand of wakeskate you buy, but in order for us to do so we had to first build a quality product.

If anyone does have any issues Ben and I are here as well as anyone on our team. Remote is completely run and owned by the team Hope that clears up anymore questions about the boards and where we stand.

okay all i have to say is you guys complain too much. come to Aus and purchase a board... you pay nearly double to get any board shipped here, and the same price to get all wakeboard attached company skates from our local stores.

its not like they are putting the price up to make money, hell im not even sure if they do make anything from this. Just like silas said, it all comes down to the products that are used in the construction of the boards.
why not pay extra for a board that is going to last longer than any other board on the market. so in the long run you're saving money!

Start making good skates down under and don't pay the international price.

When did Remote change to moonshine mfg?
I assume it was for the roadkill series.

That would be it. The wood lay ups from that series compared to the older boards are completely different.

Is it wrong that I'm a little disappointed that the graphic is not a remote logo made out of a big storage container house and a little one next to it.

Those things are bad ass.

urinal mint, +1 for a wakeskate being almost as expensive as a wakeboard*

i can wakeskate a month straight spending only $5.00 on gas....
i don't know many wakeboarders that can say the same with their $50,000+ wakeboard boats spending $100-$200 a set on gas...

I wonder how this thing rides compared to the Integ TNT model. I hate myself for selling that board.

They are solid boards as always. I ride the 37.9 Josh Norman. It rotates on axis. Flips just right. The only problem is it tracks really fast, something I'll have to get used to. As well as when I fall the board jets pretty far away or if it falls a little behind me, the board clocks me in the head as I come up from underwater....
