I pulled my first body varial today. I tried it two or three time and then stuck one. It seemed so easy when I hit it. It was a good day, I also pulled my first jump start off the dock. I tried 2 and failed but pulled the third one and then pulled another 5 in a row. Wake skating is awesome.
Does anyone know of any how to videos on the body varial? _________________ Juggling while wakeskating.

nice, i havnt tried those yet, im really consitant on shuvs now, im gonna try a 3 shuv next time im out on the water.

The easiest body varial to do would be a toeside frontside 180 body varial. Since your toeside you can do the body rotation easily with the handle in your front lead hand at all times.
It really helps to learn toeside shuvs before doing this trick. Once you learn those you can either do a body varial or a shuv - revert
Pop the board like you would a shuv, when jumping off the board after popped up just jump and shift your lower body (legs and hips) frontside, in mid jump catch the board as it comes up at 90 degrees (at 90 degrees your knees and toes should be facing the boat or ski pulling you).
After you catch the board complete the rest of the body rotation of the 180 before landing.
Some people refer to it as a shuv-revert or a body varial depending on the timing of when you catch the board and how much the boards rotates before reverted back or whatever |

Ok, I think I get it. I just went out and did the shuv-reverts on the skateboard to practice.
I'm not sure when I pass the handle though. Do I pass from my front to my back hand after the rotation is complete, or do I pass right in the middle of the rotation?
