I think its important to learn W2W and not just be able to jib.

Its like these kids that think they can snowboard...Yeah 270 on and 270 off the rail is cool, but can you actually carve down the hill, or hit a jump switch. I think not, its pretty ridiculious in my opinion. Rolling Eyes

I wasn't able to do wake 2 wake before, because I didn't really get out on a real boat much and when I did I never tryed it because my excuse was "oh im a lip kinda guy" but really that was stupid, w2w is still a big part of the sport, so yes I can now w2w and it uber fun

I'm kinda like EvanPark on the subject. I never really liked w2w stuff and do mostly lip/flat tricks.

But that is because I feel flat/lip tricks require much more work than w2w stuff.

Once you got your w2w right you never miss one... But say you land your couple first shuvit it will still be a LOT of runs before you got say 8 out of 10 down.

I learned my fs 180 w2w in about 4-5 tries and now land something like 2 out of 3.

w2w is just easier to learn and get consistent at IMO.

Of course when u start talking w2w kickflip, shuvs to indy and the like you get a mix of flat tricks and w2w tricks, so it gets MUCH harder all of a sudden ^^

Yeah but no one really puches it w2w, i think that if one person just stuck with wake to wake they would get good quick. think about all the tricks skaters do on a vert ramp, why cant we do the same thing w2w, like if you can indy shuv then throw a late b-s 180 in it and the you will be the first to do a bs indy big spin w2w stuff like that, crazy grabs, madonas sal flips all that stuff im sure is possible just no one pushes it that far yet, some one please learn w2w im sick of watching grub throw the same w2w tricks in every video, seriously that guy hasn't learned anything new in like 15 yrs Smash

i think w2w is kinda like vert skating, and lip is street skating, and I know everyone would rather watch street skating over vert

Nope. Don't even bother guessing, you'll never get it.
