Hey guys, Lemons here... Just wanted to share a little bit of what the Bayou Boy's have been up to lately.

As most of you know we've been building a pool gap in my back yard over the past month or so to get even more footage for "Ride Among Us"! although it's not entirely finished yet, I had to share some of the progress with you guys.

This gap is actually in my back yard, walk out the back door and you're there! It took a lot of hard work, countless days in the heat cutting down trees, clearing out the pond, building the gap etc... But in the end it all payed off!

I tried to make it as "streety" as possible. here goes, all cell phone pictures by the way lol....

First, I started with this! lots of woods to clear out! Poison ivy everywhere!

You can kind of see the pond peeping threw...

Now that that's out of the way... find a line!

Lets frame it up! Getting everything level was tricky, The ground was really uneven because I ride BMX and I used to have a lot of dirt jumps back there... when we tore them down we didn't do a good job leveling everything out. The thing I did was made sure everything was level from the top, instead of laying the plywood directly on the ground.

A quick view from the winch driver's prospective.. We still have a lot of trees to take down and a lot of seaweed to rake out!

Got the ledge framed up..

Got the pool framed up! I chose to use a megaphone shape to minimize the amount of water needed to fill it up, i figure you come off the starting dock and edge twards whatever you wanted to hit anyway, so no need for a rectangle. also I made the side walls a bit higher than the front so that when the pool is full, the front will be the lowest part and keep water in it better.

Good thing I hit a good stopping point because it's now time to head to Anna Maria Island with Mitch and Collin Gee to film for "Ride Among Us" with Nick and Andrew!

After a week in Florida, we need some stairs! Yea Blake!

The Liquid Playground randomly sends us some $$$$ to help fund whatever we need... It's awesome to see a wake shop from California supporting a small group of wakeskaters from Louisiana... Austin Watts is the man! thanks bro!

I made the stairs solid by putting 2x4's inbetween them, also gives it a solid "streety" look haha. We need to figure out what we want to build on the other side...

Something's Here! The best package I've ever gotten!

Introducing the Boodog electric winch! Instant torque, steady pull, no bogging, no noise... just flip the on/off switch and twist a throttle! This thing is AMAZING! Everyone who rides behind it say's the exact same thing. WOW. I can't stress enough how much we all love this thing!

At this point, David and Andrew Roehm are in town from Texas and we need to shred this thing, So we head out to Home depot to get some visqueen, and josh and I rent a pump. It holds water!

Blake's front 50-50 was one of the most skatish thing's I've seen on a wakeskate.

So that's the progress so far.... more to come soon! We still need to paint it and add some final touches... we also want to build more stuff to hit in the pond soon, should be fun!

its been awesome seeing the progress of this thing go up.
from when it was just an idea lemons had, and kept saying ,"if i build it, they
will come." and me booking my tickets to get out there and shred this spot.
