I'm contemplating on buying an Integ or Mutiny when the 2012 line is released, but I was wondering what size would fit me best. I'm 5'10 225lbs athletic build with a 10.5 shoe size, and currently ride a 41" Byerly Blend which seems to work good for me. I know in the 2011 line the biggest board was a 41", Paulson's Mutiny. Would a 41" be good, or should I look for bigger? What do you guys think is better Integrity or Mutiny? When you buy one of them do they come with griptape?

I strongly suggest changing your diet and hitting the gym. I have to this off season as well. I'm 5'7" 180 currently. Should be 160. From one out of shape dude to another, get in shape! If you do that you can ride any size.

Thanks for your reply man, but I'm not out of shape. I have an athletic build, and I'm just more muscular than normal for my height. I have no problem with my 41" blend, but was just wondering if i should stick with around a 41" or if going smaller is ok.

my input is... i'm lik4 6'4" about 210lb and ride either a 40 or 41. and with integrity's construction i would ride an even smaller board. like their 39.95 or whatever, i honestly think you could rock it too. especially if you're athletic weight, ha. also go according to your skill level, i feel that wakeskating has some similarity to snowboarding for example, where a guy my size would be told to ride a board around 160cm long. i ride a 152cm, because of the type of riding i do plus i feel more at home on a smaller more manuverable board. i feel the same on a wakeskate, i like the smaller board for better flickage!

Thanks a lot for your input bro. I figured my 41" blend is more buoyant than an integ being a bilevel. I wanted to make sure an integ smaller than a 41" would stay afloat good with me on it around 23mph. I don't want to feel like I'm sinking at 23mph ya know.

its been said that because of integritys super smooth base there is less water resistance making the board "faster" so you could ride a smaller board than you usually would, the new Remotes are claiming the same thing, I have not ridden either, but it is something that i've heard said, maybe something to consider.

splitphire, you won't feel like you are sinking at all at that speed. and to say that blend is a little more buoyant is beyond and understatement. I rode one the other day and getting it under my feet for a deepwater start was like trying to submerge a 35 gallon drum.

you will like the integ, but it is going to be so much different at first.

daniel, Haha dude I know exactly what your saying; I don't even try to deep water start it anymore. I have an old 44" CWB Lucky I ride to switch it up sometimes. I cut the long ass fins on it down to 0.8" so it rides nice. So i'm assuming the Integ will feel more like that. Since it weighs more the blend seems easier for me to keep track of when shuving and what not. It seems like everyone rides finless on the Integs so I guess if i get one I'll be rockin it like that.

I'd say ur best bet would be to go skate with someone with an integ and take it for a test drive.

Integ/Mutiny will be more durable.

That's all that can be said objectively at this point. There will always be others that prefer other brands to Integrity, but what board you buy should be your decision. When the time comes to buy a deck, see if you can find some people who will let you ride their board.

I'll prob try to snag up a around a 41" Integ when they're released again since thats what I ride now. I'm thinkin maybe the 38" or 39" will be better for flickin but will leave less room for error.

That's like comparing apples and screwdrivers.

Water Monsters: Super heavy wood board.

Integrity: Super light composite board.

Both are great boards that ride nothing alike, it's all about personal preference.

Try to ride as many boards as you can.
