I edited a video

It's all from one day in early june, minus the one clip where I'm riding in shorts--that's from the 4th of july. I just want to get more comfortable with editing so I wanted to practice with this short little jobby. My "devices" might be too much, but subliminally I'm telling you to buy a cassette from myles. so do it already. and it was also practice to carry over some photoshop capabilities to premiere.

I needed to delete that and try to re-upload a different version because the quality of that export annoyed me. This might not be much better...but dammit! Anyway...time to bust out my flash video class book from the fall. Rolling Eyes

for real soy escuala, it's cheesy but I have to give credit to every single cassette dude for inspiring me. it's so lame and cliche for me but it's true...they are why I really converted completely from wakeboarding in the first place. and especially with pop, aaron reed circa 2006/07...popping re-entry stuff like it's nobody's business.

And I guess it is about time I posted something. Laughing

What a sordid history up until now. and the crazy irony of this is that I'm riding grouch's 4-trac. Laughing

POPTART, those are some graphics from the 06 flats I bought from myles. One is actually an 05 flat deck also. I really dig those 06 decks and seeing some of my favorite videos, including more than machines, made me think more about how some effects might be achieved. There's a lot to learn, but I wanted to fool around for a bit. By the end of the summer I would like a full edit with more variety.

ollieshuvitz, I am the cassette museum and I definitely have a few 4-tracs, including an unridden version of the board I ride now. so things are OK there. Laughing

And those boards have to be out there...you just have to be dilligent in looking for them. I don't look as hard anymore because I have almost every cassette. My worst year for boards is 2002...every single board I have from that year is ridden.

I'm needing to fiberglass that 4-trac so two weeks ago I busted out a kovacich I had...it felt pretty cool to take that thing to the 2.0 in my area and ride it for the first time.

you can really tell where your influences are from in your riding, and its awesome how well you have taken their aspects (aaron's reentry and thomas' lip stuff) and thrown your own spice in the mix.

I hope we don't have to wait that long for another video.
