I ride a pair of mavrks. I got a pair of converse chuck-its in mesh too, they're wicked light. They're great for just cruising, but they wouldn't last for flip tricks.

I love the MavrkMid2Wake's. In fact I've just stepped into my second pair (first pair lasted me 12 months, riding 3 days a week at cable). Same sole as the Braata's.

I bought another pair ages ago as a backup in case I couldn't buy them in the future. The first pair only died because the sole started to rip away from the shoe on one of them because I'm lazy & grab the sole & tear them off my foot without unlacing them sometimes

Worn out skateboard shoes are PERFECT , b/c theres always a huge hole by the toe from kickflips,

the only shoe I;ve bought made for wakeskating was some byrely 2.0's almost three years ago, they eventually got huge holes too Crying or Very sad

i would ollie and land with a bloody foot

Yup. I skated in my Sambas when I forgot my wakeskate shoes at home once. They worked exactly as well as I thought they would. And then I played futsal in them the next day.
