| I ride a pair of mavrks. I got a pair of converse chuck-its in mesh too, they're wicked light. They're great for just cruising, but they wouldn't last for flip tricks.

I bought another pair ages ago as a backup in case I couldn't buy them in the future. The first pair only died because the sole started to rip away from the shoe on one of them because I'm lazy & grab the sole & tear them off my foot without unlacing them sometimes

Worn out skateboard shoes are PERFECT , b/c theres always a huge hole by the toe from kickflips,
the only shoe I;ve bought made for wakeskating was some byrely 2.0's almost three years ago, they eventually got huge holes too
i would ollie and land with a bloody foot

i tried on some chukka pros at the skate shop , almost bought them , they are super low profile and have tons of padding , sick kicks for reals
but went tru to my dvs fettish
