YEP! That's where my problem is...I've never even seen another wakeskater on the waters in VA.. I mean I'm skating a beat up Oak Moondog right now and it feels OK to me but I've never been on anything else so there's no comparison to be made. I may try an Integrity/Mutiny this year and if I go I might as well go all the way and get one that's centrafused etc. etc.

So now the question is why is Nick's board more then the other Integrity board I think it was Jen's?

sprocket america,

The reason people treat you that way is because you defend yourself similar to how "some 18 year old kid pressin decks with dads car jack" would. I don't even know where to start with where you've gone wrong as a "company" trying to represent yourself on here. I guess, first of all, you have to let your products speak for you. As of now, you have no products besides maybe some hats, shirts, and shoes from your friend's shop (which is a mistake all on its own, on your part). Also, as a company, it is a bad BAD move to say anything at all about other companies or their products in your industry, unless it's a 100% inarguably good comment. You in particular should be especially careful about this, because again. You. Have. No. Product.

I could go on, but I guess what it would all boil down to is that you're unprofessional, and you have not released any boards. All we have to judge Sprocket America by is you and that other little bird that chimes in whenever the internet people pick on you too much. Your whiny defenses hurt you more than you could imagine. So my advice is this:

Keep quiet and work on your decks. Make damn sure they're good, and when you finally do give us something, be humble about it.

edit: I can't help but add that in your previous posts, you've implied that you know "more than [any of us] could pray for." That's not only most likely untrue, but it's condescending upon your target market. You put yourself on a pedestal. Get off of it.

Sprocket this is coming from a guy that can't even barely ollie on a wakeskate and got into the sport literally last year. Based off this thread alone, exactly everything Slapdown just said is pretty much the exact first impression you've made on me. I said out loud "Who the hell is this Sprocket Rocket guy and where did he come from? He sounds full of crap."

If you're truly a company owner you need to pull it together brotha. And even though you were in a fit of rage as you say...grammar matters. One of your posts was so painful to read, I literally gloss'd over it and didn't come back to it. If you're representin' a company you're gonna sell from you need to definitely do better on the professionalism aspect.

Schmaltz didn't just claim to have knowledge in this thread, he showed his knowledge and represented his company well, which isn't quite what you did.

geissap, I think you need to ask erich or jen about that. I know the price of nick's board has remained consistent over the years, and one big difference is the use of bamboo as the centerweight piece. As for jen's board, I'm a little confused with the product description. The main page says the core is a 9 ply birch core with centrafuse technology, but the main product description of this board doesn't mention the centrafuse technology like nick's does. Plus, I'm pretty sure the price came down from 375.00 to 345.00.

sprocket america, my suggestion is to keep it cool man... let work talk for you. don't give into the provoking. ITS A TARP!

although you can talk as much chit as you want and i'll still buy your boards if they're inexpensive and well-built.

Idea

I've only just heard what wakeskating is but I can tell you for sure that integrity's are only good for goofy foot riders. If you ride regular you'll ride better on a wooden deck but only if you are towed below 21 mph and on an even numbered day. If its an odd day you have to ride switch on an Integirty with your thumb in your ass.

Hope that clears everything up.

88skisupreme, you forgot to factor in the northern and southern hemispheres along with the phase of the moon at that time.
