ZackFL(BRE), The Purist line was intended to be an intermediate / beginner board at a lower price point. Essentially a wood deck but with a superior construction to the standard wood decks on the market. It was planned to be an addition to the line and after testing the construction the decks would of shared a concave similar to the other decks that would of been cnc machined. What you've seen or heard about the Purist proto's really has no bearing since what you've seen or heard about was something that was 50% of what someone would of been able to actually purchase since the line was far from complete...

If I can produce a deck that's superior to the previous year then why not? That's called progression and actual innovation. Better riding boards will better the sport.

I've never sold the same board two years in a row with just a graphic change. Miller has ridden an 09 LTD and he's now riding a 2010 LTD. There's quite a difference in ride between the two as I'm sure he'll tell you.

My concern isn't about legitimizing one board... The boards speak for themselves every time.

ZackFL(BRE), The only people that do any testing is the team... If you don't trust the opinion of my team or my customers that's your prerogative. But do yourself a favor and actually ride something I've built then come on here and talk about it cause right now your just talking out your ass.

ZackFL(BRE), I bought a 2010 LTD and it's actually amazing, and I have absolutely no connection to Arson other than having started riding this one this year. Last year I bought an Omen which I loved but wasn't for me with the 5 stage rocker, and it seems that the Arson rides about the same without the drag.
It's a great board and I've given it A LOT of abuse recently winching shallow water hitting rocks and knocking it off walls and stuff and it's holding up great, literally just a few dents in the sidewall and some holes in the bottom sheet which I covered in Araldite and haven't had any problems since.
So to conclude, it's a sick skate, pops nice, spins nice and it's durable.
There you go, a completely unbiased opinion.

ZackFL(BRE), you're blind and numb! so many signs but you just seem to get it. I'm really feeling bad and embarrassed that you obviously call yourself a wakeskater.

SleuCrew, keep up the good work chris! It's always nice to get some first hand info. I wish I could take one of your boards for a spin! Did you ship any boards to germany yet?

ZackFL(BRE), you are the in the minority here. I have never heard a negative comment from anyone that has ridden Arson.

I have ridden an Omen, 09 LTD and 2010 LTD and the progression has been amazing. Chris has his shizzle dialled in.

I have ridden most boards (01 to present - flats, bis, concaves) and in my opinion, the Arson I am riding right now is the best.

electricsnow Thanks for that, but if he wants to have the opinion he has of the 20 million people who live in Australia, based solely on a handful of people he has probably met, then let him. His own problem. I probably should have been the bigger man and not called him out on his negativity, it was just annoying me that someone could be so blind towards a company and it manufacting, based on nothing at all.

Lets stear this back to where it is supposed to... What I believe to be one of the best production boards I have ridden.

P.S. sorry to everyone if I came across cocky. Like SleuCrew said, I am not affiliated with his company, I am just a customer who is happy with a product.

88skisupreme The 09 limited that I have is 3 stage, I can't talk for the rest of the boards which might go out, but from what I have read, I think they might all be 3 stage as well.

I'm not afraid of anyone's opinions, but if you're going to discuss something, at least be respectful. I thought that one post specifically was over the line, and if he does that and nothing is said, than other people could potentially do the same thing. And it just isn't necessary.

And to re-direct this thread in the proper direction, of course I wish the arson camp the best of luck in the upcoming season. Cool
