i am 6'1 230, and if i can get up behind a 40hp johnboat with 5 people in it, then he sure should be able to get up behind a ski/boat/ anything, 17lbs doesnt make a big difference i wouldnt think. does he deep water start?

Well he hasn't tried anything yet. He's probably about 5'11" 247. I was gonna try to make him deep water start though yes...

my buddy is 6'6 250 and gets up on a 42 zariel behind anything just about, and almost behind my winch. practice practice. if you can find a powerful boat that might give him some confidence

I got a 2008 Yamaha FX Sho it's got the punch I think, supercharged 1800ish cc about 215 HP? You think that'll do it? I've pulled a 3 person tube with about 550 lbs. on it with no problem so I'm thinking this should definitely get him out of the water.

geissap, You sure are pumping out quite a few questions and new threads here buddy. What are you so worried about?
"Can my friend get up?" - IDK take him out and try
"What does this board look like?" - Search
"blah blah blah right?" yes, no, no, yes and no....

I LOVE THIS POST!

I was unaware that a question equated worry? I ain't worried about anything just trying to learn as much as I can. I've done a fair share of research and searching on this forum, but this site is very loose with the organization. Usually there's threads stickied and dedicated to noob questions. This one doesn't really have that. And seems a little casual on the posting/moderating which I actually like!

Plus you've quoted me saying stuff that I've never said which is cute. Where did I ever ask, "Can my friend get up?" In fact what I was seeking is a vid of a big dude...see the original post. "What does this board look like?" Not sure I ever said that either...I talked about how most sites don't show the concaves or top sides of decks if that's what your badly quoting?

Finally, is someone holding a gun to your head obligating you to answer my threads or even click on them?

Gnarly Is there a video somewhere of this TK fella?
