Wakeskating Season Is NOT OVA!!!

AFTER I WROTE THIS I FOUND OUT THAT WASN'T MY LAST TIME OUT, IM STILL RIDING

YAY

this sucks... my season is almost over... today was my almost last day of the year riding... at the end of the set my hands where purple and I couldn't feel my feet... its time to go snowboarding...

also... just want to let ppl know that I desided I wont be doing the pro tour next year... my reason is because, first off im only 15, second I just learned a shuv this year and I still have tons of improving to do, im not as consistant as I want to be... I want to be able to do go and land all the easy stuff (shuv to lip shuv out, bigspins, etc.) with out falling, I also want to land some new tricks before I do the tour ( kickflip, bs big, 270 shuv to fs board etc.)

just like to thanks anyone (nick, yuri, justin, chase, vance, alex, ten-80 etc.) for incouraging me to do the tour...

but I most likely I will see you guys at worlds!!!

no offence intended here but what did it take for you to get sponsored or what level was your wakeskating at when you got picked up seeing as you only learned shuvs this year and it sounds like your at the same level as the average decent non-sponsored wakeskater on here. i reiterate no offence intended just curious

jerrysk8, when I was signed with LF ... I sucked I couldn't even shuv... and I was only doing 180s for wakeboarding... you guys might not belive me but its true... LF Canada signs riders that might have a potiental... and I showed that I did becuase I won novice for BC and took 2nd overall in skate...

but on the other hand TEN-8, Dirty Dog where companys that where looking for a rider who can do well in comps and has some "good" tricks to through down...

flatwater is just a friend of mine that I ride with and I support his dealer ship...

and so answer your question about the same level as the average decent non sponsored skater... I take my sponsorships very seriously I support, promote, and help out in anyway I can... alot of companys would like that in a rider... there are probably a bunch of riders on here who could do the same.. and I encourage them to go to a comp, get to know ppl who runs companys, help out anyway you can to show your committement to the sport...

Parky, According to the ten-80 site, your sponsored for wakeboarding? Bit of mis-communication somewhere along the line there mate.
I think you should go to the tour stop's anyway, walk around, meet people, you might even be able to get reed or danny to sign your board for you!!

i'm still going to nationals to try and qualify, i dont care if i don't do good i just think it will be cool to do it..........parky you should go dude dont be a pu$$.... that is why i think sponsors are gay in some ways, you had your little canadian heart set on going then won person told you to wait and know your going to... i dont know you personally but from what i can tell you really wanted to go to ntnls, don't let the opinion of one person wreck that. if you really want to do it go for it WHY CANT YOU GO THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR?

sim, when I signed with them I signed on the basis of my wakeskating skills... but I still wakeboard so I have a wakeboard pic on there... the main thing is having fun, because when your on the water it doesn't matter who your ride for or who you dont ride for... PIRATE, I understand what your saying... but it was my choise not to go... if anything ten-80 is putting to much presure on me to go...

and on the other hand...i gotta get me some sponsors cause i can throw that stuff down...free stuff would be pimp...and i want to get into the scene and help it progress
