just check it as a pair of waterskis and no one will ask any questions. A skate wont fit in the ovehead compartment. I took mine to cuba and told them it was waterskis. no problem at all just put it in a board bag. only porblem i had was when i got to cuba the gaurds grabed me and checked my board bag for drugs.
and all they found was a skate, shoes, life jacket and rope. |

When I flew with mine, I checked it & told them it was a boogie board, and I was not charged any extra fee. _________________ Life is short - live every day to its fullest. |

I've put mine in the overhead...They let you carry on guitars so why wouldn't they let you carry on a skate. _________________ Obscura Wakeskates! |

| Different airlines have different rules.. some charge for ANY sporting equipment.. I always tell them that I'm a physical therapist and its a tool i use for disabled kids to float in pools with. skis or boogie board could be considered sporting equip. |

| jeff, haha thinking outside the box. i have the very large kampus bag that holds 3 skates, so when i travel with my board i just pack the rest of my clothes in the skate bag. i don't get charged a fee cause it looks kinda like a duffel |
