blast from the past....
im guessing this was in 2005, out at vances house. nick, his dad, vance, and possibly a few others had a day of shred. all i remember was riding like crap but having a blast.

I was just getting back into wakeskating then, and Vances videos and the vibe of that era with Nick coming up and the 3flip and everything got me soooo stoked to ride...

greatness! i remember these shots, and i remember when nick had that long ass hair haha.
I miss vances lake house/boat. mad fun time there on the lake and the tramp. |

Thanks so much for posting those Chad, it really made my day to think back on those times... I'm so grateful for the time we all got to spend, you guys were all so good to me. As a kid, I didn't have the real capacity to appreciate how lucky I am to have found wakeskating and to have met so many rad folks through it... So for the times spent on the mattress on your floor, thanks Chad. For the wild time spent hitchhiking across Georgia, thanks Brandon. For all the fun weekends on Lake Lizzie doing cavemans on your dock and making $5 ebay videos, thanks Vance... And obviously, for my existence, abilities, strength, patience, wisdom, joyous demeanor, appreciation of the eclectic, increasingly-complex thought process, tanned-skin, and ability to love- I continually and whole-heartedly thank my dad, Jim Taylor...
I better be careful, getting even a little emotional at the airport probably isn't a good idea haha, thanks a lot Chad  
I think this is the video I put up from the same day. When I get home from this trip, I'm gonna look in my vaults and see if I can find the miniDV tape with from that day...
