Does the finish on the remote look half-assed or is it just me? I plan to get that board regardless.

lakebum, how is the graphic applied on that remote? Is it a heat transfer? Or is it PBT?

the base is not pbt. it's soft were you can make an indent with your fingernails. seems like some kind of vinyl

wakemitch, is it like the base material the old LF walton boards had? I'm just curious because it's so hard to tell what those board really look like, material wise, from the pics.

I have no doubt the boards are solid and I'm not trying to create any trouble with these questions. The only thing I could say about the bubbles is, I think for a manufacturer, it comes down to professionalism. I know I'd want my products to look tight because that's the impression you're leaving with people. I'm sure they'll get it right soon.

my friend had bubbles on his NEW like that and he poked them with a needle and it looks fine now. I bet it would be same for the remote?

My skates:

Oak Team, LF Anthem, '03 Cassette McGuckin 43, Butter 42

I just refinished the Cassette, again (3rd time). It's still in great shape. I haven't even ridden the other three boards. I just got them over the winter because I thought it'd be nice to try some new boards.

X,

Shocked You did it pro-style on the Cassette redux.
I also liked the pic where the grain is still exposed on the base. Smash
