looks like there are a few islands that you can catch some surf on here in LA. kinda like the outer banks but for the gulf. I plan on surfing and fishing this spot at some point in time. My dads fishing hole is only about 30min from here by boat. Very Happy

Lollar! Hey man, we rode at my buddies in Apopka. He lives on a lake and there is a pretty decent run there. Ive been wanting to winch in my river but havent found any takers as of late. I'll PM you my info.

mead_hall, how deep is it these days? I'm sure with all the rains its ok but last time I rode it we beached the ski in the middle of the lake. I was riding and all of a sudden the ski stopped and as i started to slow down i stepped of my wakeskate in to 1" of water. lol

McCoy is pretty close to my crib.

TWG, Not too bad. We bottomed the boat out in one spot but I dont think there is anywhere on a ski youre going to hit bottom. Most of the lake is now about 5ft+. We were there all weekend and got plenty of riding in. There is a rail out there now as well.
