any league bowlers on here?

i bowled a 692 league series tonight, and got a 289 in practice last night!

nice!! congrats on the 692 and 289 last time i bowled in a league over last summer i averaged 225. had a high series of 784 that league and 2 299s. in the league before that i had an 805 series and a 300 in the league before that. I havent been bowling since august and im starting to miss it, i gotta find a league up here in Orlando. If you are ever in orlando or jupiter hit me up so we can go bowling. Very Happy

I used to bowl back in high school. During the summer it was all we really had to do and wednesdays before 5:00PM they only charged 25 cents for everything, shoe rental, each game, food/drinks..

At the height of my skills I only averaged like 165 though.

fastgreens, <MikeG>, Nice! i bowl league too. this was my first season and i love it. my average is 155 but lately ive been consistently bowling in the 160s or better. i try to get to the lanes at least one other night a week besides league, but i also play in a foosball tournament every thursday night Smash

btwfastgreens, that ball is sick man. i watched the little youtube video of it. i throw the storm "fast" and its been a great ball for me to learn hook on.

My cousin and I bowled in a league a few years ago, just randomly joined it b\c we were decent. Ended up finishing second by one point. We were the only people in the league under 35...They were super serious and we would just be joking around drinking and laughing...It would make those people sooo mad b\c we would still win.

-=AlexXx=-, dude bowling is seriously the cheapest recreational sport on the planet besides like horseshoes or something lol. call the alley and find out which nights they have specials. you can also purchase bowling shoes for about 20 dollars which saves you the $4 charge everytime if you plan on going

I used to work at a restaraunt that was closed on Mondays so we could all go bowling on dollar night. Shoes, a lane and beer for a dollar each. That was tight, but my highest score was like 160.
