| Yeah man just make sure it doesn't have lots of soft spots in the floor. Those old boats have wood floors and stringers. If they are rotten it can make the boat kinda unsafe. I have had lots of older inboards and have had lots of experience with rotten boats. If it appears to be solid go for it. Those old ski boats have the best lippy wakes behind them. Just wanted to give u the heads up.

yea thanks. i might try and stop by to check it out this weekend ill make sure to check the floor. the guy said it runs in the post, but when i emailed him he said the ignition is kinda messed up but the engine runs if you by pass the ignition. so i was thinking that may be a wiring problem or something?
i pulled up the email and he said "It will run w/work to the ignition(a mech. friend of mine can make it run by-bypassing the ignition/solenoid or something?!) ".

Yo fellas i actually just picked up a trailer for my 78 ski supreme, im takin the trailer up to Orlando on Sunday evening and patching a couple minor rust spots, sanding then painting it. I also have to remount the winch because as is the trailer holds a 18ft boat, mine is 19ft....anyways it also has to squeeze in my tiny garage so what i did was reversed the hitch post so it angles forward and that gave me more than enough room, plus their is an extension for the tongue so it fits in my garage perfecftly,
anyways monday shell have the boat on her, its a 78 ski supreme with a 351 pcm, needs new floors and interior, im doing all the work myself, the upholstery is being done by my friends aunt who is in a sewing club of ten that do projects, so theyre gonna sew my upholstery and ill make the seats and staple and install them. Anyways hit me up Mufinman and ill we can give eachother some pointers...heres my baby
