electricsnow, you know what's funny about your avatar? it looks A LOT like that "2008 commissioned painting" chris mack did...hmm

thank you so much for this interview, it was really insightly to what was behind the graphics and the brand as a whole. i love how much foresight thomas had, using the "cassette" as a way to record what was happening in wakeskating.

ollieshuvitz, my avatar is that painting. What's funny is the camera is not originally what I wanted. Originally I wanted the polaroid camera that was on the 43, so I told him that (I want what was on the 43). but the painting arrived as it is and it still looks totally sick, but I wondered where the miscommunication took place. looking at some old imagery, I don't know if there were mistakes or the 43 was going to be the 41, but the decks were switched. Anyway, I'm still stoked and it was a dream come true. I've said it a million times, but I wanted a mack painting ever since I saw linear perspective. So to have the paintings and then original line drawings was amazing and a total honor. Definitely those are some of my most treasured items.

And I'm glad that you liked the interview! I can critique it and I know what I would like to do better, but I'm happy that it means something to a few of you.
