I did not know this. I'm even more stoked now.

I was Max for halloween like 3 or 4 years ago and almost NOBODY got it. Too bad I didn't wait a few years, but then again there's probably going to be a few at whatever party you go to this year...

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING....saw it last night, everthing i hope the movie would be it was; great music, awesome cast

James Gandolfini was perfect for Carol and the kid that played Max was extremely good and talented in this movie.

WELL DONE Spike Jonze!

I loved the book as well, I think its great that he took a book that only has 10 sentences in it and made it into a film.

The movie was good......Mos Def, However the filming in certain points was a little disorienting. Too much Camera jitter during a running and jumping and tromping scene made me think of Transformers or Blair Witch. A little slow at times as well....Could have been an hour long and not been so drawn out at times. Over all a B- in my book. Great Character interpretation, Great Acting, Too bad its a throw back..Ie GI joe, Transformers, Camaros, Its an old concept...Not too fresh....whats next Care Bears movie or My Little Pony? Hollywood knows us 30 somethings are going to take our kids and get our 20 bucks. I think we are all in love with nostalgic feel of such movies that we Hype them up to be what we expected of such a book if it were a movie when we were 6 Years old. I for one walked out about as full as if I left a Chinese Buffet.

My .02.
