Just like a few years ago when a lot of kids were wearing sweatbands on thier forearm, now everyone's in t-shirts and cut offs or jeans.

sweatbands on a forearm...wasn't that another wakeboarding thing? Laughing

I can't help it. For me, watching someone ride with pants (demin or not) is like watching someone with bad style. It's totally distracting and I pretty much give up on it.

But I will still say once more that gnarly dancer is bad ass because that kid has progressed so much on a wakeskate.

SICK!!!! hell ya kyle your killin' it!

electricsnow, just a quick question?

Do you like watching skateboarding? Because most skateboarders where jeans when they ride. To me it brings a little more skateboard style to wakeskating. But to each his own. I'm not trying to say your wrong or anything just trying to see where your coming from, and why you despise it so much.

David_Roehm, It's practical to wear denim in the street. It would be impractical for a skateboarder to wear a wetsuit or some other sort of water attire while skateboarding. To me, it's a total eye sore to see denim pants on the water. You use that skateboarding example and to me it's like a prime example of wakeskaters trying too hard to look/be like skateboarding/skateboarders. Because this is wakeskating, right? The only reason I could *understand* denim while wakeskating is if you're riding something gnarly, like that rocky mound danny hampson was trying to wall ride in "Human Trailers."

Anyway, that parky sequence was funny. With the armband thing, i was thinking the pointless dudes circa 2002-2004. Headbands, wristbands...HOLLA!

electricsnow, we were wearing pants that day cause it was cold, and even though they didn't help, we though it was cool.

In my opinion i think they help you land cool tricks.
