I just got an 08 Aaron Reed and took it out for the first time on Lake Waubesa in Madison, WI

| I got that same board 3 months ago and love it. at $125 shipped to my door it was a steal, altho i did have to reseal it all the way around the edges because it was taking on water after only a week, but its good now. oh, and i have those same shoes, another closeout deal $39.95. i hate paying retail.....

| I used marine grade polyurethane varnish . You have to sand first, then apply thin coat. let dry over night,lightly sand, apply another thin coat, let dry overnight, lightly sand repeat as many times as you want the more coats the better.

You're right on with the location on the lake. It was a calm night but it was a Sunday, so it was pretty beat out there. We still got some good riding in though.
