Why I will now wakeskate instead of surf!!!

There was a tropical storm hitting Avalon NJ and my brothers, there friend and I headed to the beach to surf. The waves were great. Big and broke well. Me and my brother caught a wave and my brothers friend didn't. So we were paddling out again and we dove under a wave. And somehow my brother lost his board and it hit my right in the eye. I had to get six stitches on the eyelid, three on my check and i have two fracures in my right orbetile. Spent three days in the hospital. It was also the last week of our vacation and my dad was down so we were going to go out wakeskating twice a day. Well i had to stay inside and watch fuel tv. While my brothers and friend went out wakeskating. So i have to wait till next summer to wakeskate.

eh. i'll probably get crucified for saying this on here, but surfing > wakeskating. i love wakeskating, but surfing is the best feeling i've ever gotten. don't let that injury keep you from surfing. it's the most natural pure freedom you can get on the planet.

samcollett Yeah surfiing rocks but I will probably get a couple of runs in first on the wakeskate before I head to the beach to go surfing.

Terry,the lesson you learned should be don't surf w/ kooks. Heal up quick and then go sucker punch your bro in the face for letting go of his board.
