locking the poogina thread is taking a part of wakeskating.com history. everyone gets a few laughs everytime its bumped but now nobody will ever expirience that again

I'm not very invested in the decision to lock this particular thread, it's more of the idea that nothing could add to what that thread was. The only thing new posts could accomplish would be to glorify what had already happened and that just degrades its original context...

I'm actually making it sound more complicated than it is, but I guess I'll just ask, why do you want the thread to keep coming to the surface and dwell on it? If someone can give me a good enough reason why it should be unlocked and continue to be chimed in on, I'll unlock it. Until then, I don't really like being accused of censorship...

It was weird because it was only a few recent posts that revived the thread and they weren't controversial or vulgar posts like that had been posted in the beginning of the thread. I just read the whole thing....AGAIN. And as said previously, its sort of a staple thread on this forum, if such a thing exists.
