Boards don't slip out, people do
I just got an Onset, and i love it a lot. This thing looks sick too i really like how the foam makes a bilevel pop. It looks a bit heavy though. The shape looks sick as does the concave and the foam for sure. I'd love to try one out but 300 is a little steep especially for a proto/blank or whatever he's selling. _________________ - Evan Molina |

-=AlexXx=-, I don't know, all I've ever seen him ride was that Kampus that turned into a homemade concave, and then the ends got rounded off. I wonder what his motive was for the rounded nose/tail. Interesting design _________________ El Tiburón Rojo |

one thing that i like about this board is that it rides quick in the water, and feels light in the water for a bi level. it releases really well too. when i do a 3shuv i just think big shuv with a little extra. but it is still super consistent like lots of bi levels.
rides like a skateboard and has snowboard roots, so its super tough. also it floats alot so you don't have to wear a vest. although signature wakeskates insists that you use the proper floatation device. |

Slapdown, i have ridden an oak for half a day and land tricks without slipping out and then ride a new and slipout on the same trick i was landing on the oak. doesnt that make the new slip out more?
i was wondering if Incentive has ridden that board and could compare if it slipped out more than another board he has ridden because in my opinion the way it is shaped looks like it is slippery. _________________ i love t!ts

i agree with slapdown, the rocker on the board'll make it ride faster or slower in the water which determines whether you land more centered, back or foreward _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com

DIRK, I'm not by any means trying to argue. Along with what gnarlydancer said, a lot of things determine how high/low a board sits in the water and how "slippery" it seems, but it's a matter of how you ride a board that makes you slip out on tricks or not. _________________ - Evan Molina |

DIRK, news feel more "slippery" because there is a more abrupt concave and a bigger flat spot. so it "makes" you not used to the rocker. _________________

there is alot that goes into board design. length, center width, tip/tail width, side cut, rail shape, rocker, channels/fins, core material, etc and all effect the ride. _________________ "I said take me to the sea, cause that is where I want to be. when one falls, which tends to happen often on the wakeskate there is a period of waiting in which the rider is waiting for their pull of choice to return with the handle. during this time one may grab on to their signature wakeskate for some added floatation. this quality tends to elongate sessions requiring the wakeskater to do less treading water.
the board is quite buoyant
glad people are looking at this thread |

That vestless comment is totally ridiculous. The board looks interesting and I'm happy for clint, but please don't use that as a selling point for the board. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
