i would go with the impulse personally, but its all based on opinion really. but if your looking for something in that price range i would strongly suggest an integrity simplex

john271, stay away from legacy 39! imo

it feels like there is about an inch of room for your feet, the impulses feel so much better, the only downside is you'll probably want to put some sealant on the board because LF does a crappy job with that

i agree with Gnarly Dancer 42. i had a 41 impulse and it soaked up water after 2 or 3 rides. you shouldnt have to reseal a board upon buying it imo. and the legacy 39's concave is pretty steep. try to ride a bunch of different boards to find what you like

john271, the legacy makes your feet cramp because of how steep the concave is.
the impulse is a good shape. ive had good luck with them lasting, but most people dont. im not a fan of the asymmetrical shape though.

if you are going to spend that kind of money there are way better choices out there.

john271, I severly dislike the byerly legacy, the concave is just awkward. I used to love the impulse, so i would suggest the impulse out of those two choices. As the others say, there are better choices for the same amount of $$.

mr.foonis, product pusher. Birthday
But i definitely agree, the integ will outlast both the byerly and the impulse, most likely.
