|
|
Howdy,
I had it a year now and just noticed that the driver wheel - the one with the 10t sprocket on it - has an adjustment.
The green spring that sits inside the wheel can be put in 3 different holes on the front plate, which has a bolt holding it on.
It's in hole 1 at the moment, anyone tried moving to 2 or 3?
What is the effect, does it change up quicker? We're having trouble getting planning quick enough from deep starts, I fancy changing this bit.
Any ideas? the manual don't help _________________ I love riding boards like a fat kid loves cake.

OK thanks,
Do you mean it would start to drive at idle revs? _________________ I love riding boards like a fat kid loves cake.

it came out the box set on 1 - does that make it optimum? _________________ I love riding boards like a fat kid loves cake.

jat447, i dont think they come out the box set up for winching. most likely on the web page they have some kind of contact info. you may be able to contact somebody in their tech department and ask them.
or you could always change up what hole you put the spring in and see what happens and report back |

The holes allow for adjustable spring tension. Hole one will give the least spring tension, and hole three will give the most. As the spring tension increases it intern decreases the rate at which the secondary pulley shifts resulting in more torque.
So I think the first hole will give the best results for winching, unless you are really bogging out of deep starts. _________________ www.Reelwinchsystems.com |

exactly, if you are bogging on starts you most likely have to change your sprocket teeth. prolly add a few teeth for more low end torque. |
