one of my friends showed me how and drove me some triple ups today
they're so crazy i got like 7 feet of air off the trippled up jet ski wake rollers
i cant imagine hitting one from a wakeboard boat
anyone else try hitting these? if not, you should they're so fun

samcollett, i would try to explain but i think it would be easier to just draw a picture of it. you basically make a C then come around and pull the rider through it
the black line/arrows are the boat path and the red spot is the sweet spot where the waves converge to make the triple up
oh and it's not a part of the boats wake that is right next to you, its just the rollers from it, so the boat just drives next to the sweet spot

I like to make like an S turn a few times then travel around... the C will work, but doing more turns gives you different rollers to choose from... and it will also make you look like the worst driver on the lake
I'd love to see a wakeskater hit one of my trippleups

| We do triple ups and triple up whips when we strap. They actually make you go to big for just a normal triple up but triple up whips are the most fun thing to do on a wakeboard. If you have ever seen Shafted, Parks hits mainly triple ups in that vid and he does two triple up whips. One he does a double tantrum and the other he does kind of a grabbed tantrum 360. I've never boosted as high as he does but i've gotten pretty close on double backflips on them, i guess they really aren't tantrums when there is no rope.

| And the slow down method is about half the size of a properly driven triple up. The triple ups on my 210 are around chin high.

Footy!
The other day i got a double up behind my ski, and i was like 5 feet in the air, and almost cleared the whole wake.
One can only imagine the power of the triple up..

| Gnarly Dancer 42, do you jump off the sweet spot into the middle on the boat wake?

really depends... I always drive it so the rider can cut out and land in the flats, but somehow my friend can drive it perfectly so that the huge roller collides perfectly into the boat wake

triple ups are just one up on a double up. y our supposed to drive through it like a d-up. if you don't it's just called hitting rollers. whips are cool
