I have a rare 1997 Thomas Horrell pro model wakeboard made by FullTilt. This board is super hard to find and its even more rare because its supposed to be blue, but its a factory blemish and came out purple. This board is in excellent condition and these pictures dont do it justice. This is for the ultimate collector of the person who invented wakeskating. Im not even sure what something like this is worth. I personally have never seen another one of these boards little lone a blemish! Basically this is going to go to the highest offer. Trades?? (maybe an integrity ltd would be nice) but cash is a favorite.
Here is Wakeworld.com's board review:

No offense, but I don't think that's a factory blem. You can see where the bindings were placed on the wakeboard and it has a blue tint to it, not to mention the fact that the base is blue as well. I think that board is severly faded from being in the sun.

Yep, its not a blem, mine has turned purple over the years also, but I do have a red T$ Full Tilt fusion core test model, with the golf ball bottom, dont think they ever saw production.

I think the other one someone mentioned was his turntable model from 1998. That was a high end board and also super sick looking!

this one has the golf ball bottom as well. reason i say its factory blem is becaus the clear coat is still perfect on the surface. where the bindings were its a little rough and leads me to think te bindings were left on there too long and it started eating through and that why its blueish where they were. the bottom is not blue, its blackish gray
its worth a shot for any collectors, blemish or not im just throwing it out there if anyone is sreiously interested. thank you

stompin9s, i got it from my old best friend in 2000 i believe, maybe 2001. he was the previous owner and he got it new. he knew i was a fan of thomas horrell and he gave it as a gift.

winch4fun, Sorry man, but that is from setting in the sun for a long time. Friends board was a dark blue, and is now a bright purple.

I have one of the turntable boards. I think it's a 98. Thomas gave it to me a long time ago, he and I used to dj together for Fulltilt. It's never been wet, and never had bindings or fins on it. I think it's extra cool cuz he signed it when he gave it to me... Are these boards worth anything?

Great story atom. I have a little horrell/fulltilt wakeboard collection going on myself, and the turntable graphic was one of my favorites (that and the chinchilla graf).
As far as value...it really depends. If you find someone who either really wants that board or is a big fan of thomas', then you might be in luck. But the boards I've purchased over the years did not cost me a lot. If money is really what you want, I'd hold onto it for awhile. Thomas is one of the most influential people in wake, period. but as a whole, wakeboarding and wakeskating (and the culture) are all young, so there isn't the same following of collectors as there is in snowboarding or skateboarding.
But hopefully you appreciate thomas' gesture and your personal connection to your fulltilt wakeboard. Nobody else has that same story.

yeah, it meant a lot when he did that for me ( i kinda had to twist his arm to sign it, pretty humble guy ). my curiosity on value wasn't to try and sell, i guess just wondering more than anything else. he's a good friend, and i don't get to see him much anymore, so it's cool that i have this hanging up in my office. thanks for the info, much appreciated!!!
