It can go either way that time of year. I have ridin in no wetsuit with air 70 and water 70. I have also been in the surf with the air 45 degrees. I live further south than Orlando and our weather is better in the winter so you will probably need a wetsuit most of the time. The wind isn't usually any worse than normal, and my lake is empty all winter long.

All you need is a heater shirt. But you can always go to performance and buy a wetsuit.

if a cold front comes through its just not fun to go riding in but a good wet suit and full bladder will do the trick if u want to ride. just pee in your suit when u jump in, i kno it sounds gross but not only does it feal good to pee but it warms the shock of the water. catalyst112, if ur talking crowds at owc, they shut down for a lil bit, i dont know exactly when but i would check into.

it all depends on if there is a cold front. i remember last season there was times i would ride in a full sleeve rash guard and be fine and then a week later it was soo cold i couldnt stand riding.

we still go when the water gets down below 50. we usually double up long sleeve rashguards, and pee out pants, and run to a hottub after sessions. the worst part is the wind while on the boat after being in the water. weve gone in about 45 in just boxers though, endurance test.
but you should be fine with a rashguard or two.

che blanc, we keep a steady supply of water for a steady supply of natural heat. hahaha
we have contests... err, not shrinkage contests. cold water endurance contests.

pointless but entertaining, and keeps you from paying attention to the cold water.
