"Hopefully you've heard something about the new Blast website and soon to be print magazine (the first issue is scheduled for a June 15 release). We caught up with Blast founder Jimmie Walker to learn more about the people behind Blast and their goals for the magazine."

-=AlexXx=-, they probably came out with the 09 pro before he made the switch and just have a bunch of Horan's that they gotta get rid of.

416, the oak wakeskates are 100% wood. The bottom layer of wood has the graphic, and the ink is seeped into the wood and then sealed. It's cool to see them up close because you see the wood grain underneath the colors from the graphic. I just like that.

-=AlexXx=-, I don't know the ins and outs of that sort of thing, but part of it is, no matter what, some of those boards will be floating around. Mikey had a bunch of 09 decks ready for sale and distribution to various so-and-sos at the expo. Then consider that dealers are placing orders for these boards at the expo...there are orders that have to be filled.

I don't know if there's something contractual about a company still selling a rider's wakeskate (or whatever signature item) while they're not on the team...I would like to imagine there is, especially if there is a crucial size that belongs to a pro rider. A good example of this is tim kovacich. He left cassette in early 03 when cassette split from LF, and his pro model was the only 40" concave in the line. I'm sure they continued to sell it, there were orders to fill, and there were other little groms that needed a 40" 3-d concave to shred on. Laughing
