I kinda F-ed up my jackshaft on my TAV and I can't seem to find a replacement. Mine is threaded and keyed on one side and has a groove on the other end with a retaining ring on it . . . . . I messed up the treads pretty bad just on the very end of it I haven't taken the shaft out to see if I can repair it yet . . . . . . Any suggestions ?

You can use a die and try and salvage the shaft you have , or you can purchase a new one. I had to replace one for Grasso's winch and for DVSKATE's.

Just take off the snap ring, and hammer the shaft from the back of the TAV. It will slide out of the bearings and you can work on it or replace it. Pretty easy.

CGA PFD, Sweet thanks for link for some reason all the shafts I found were either not threaded at all or threaded on both ends

We're going to pull it and try and fix the threads but for only $20 I'll probably go ahead and pick one up just to have a spare

Thanks guys
