Hey guys...

New 09 LTD are being cut and preped as I speak and should ship in 2 weeks or so...

Also we have a new 9 ply birch centra fuse core that will replace our old high density foam Core... reason being the cost and the weight/feel. This should allow us to lower our cost to you... so expect a better core and a lower price in the team series.

The 9 ply birch is kiln dried and laminated @ high heat and pressure... This soaks up the resin and creates a sealed and solid core... that will snap hard and last even longer then the older core... and cost you less. It's just a step or 2 below the bamboo core in snap and feel, but the birch is heavier weight with out the extra cost. Bamboo is super expensive and that has to be reflective in the price.

This new core will be available shortly.

Respect,
Erich

Schmaltz, so the birch core is heavier than the bamboo core or the old high density foam core?

this new birch core sounds like a winner for everyone

looking foward to seeing these new LTDs

Yes, the 9 ply birch core is heavier then the old foam core... and only slightly heavier then the bamboo.

Lemons and Gabe Paulson will have a Mutiny model for 2010 which will hit after surf expo this August. I am working on a new shape and core designs which will be seperate from Integrity... For 2009 Mutiny will have just one graphic and one size shared with Integrity... It will be the Perseverance in an Orange color with orange side wall...40.23"

I'm not 100% sure yet with the 9 ply Birch, I have a few proto decks going out to be tested by the team. Based on what I see so far It should replace the high density foam Centra core. It's a little cheaper to produce and weighs more then the former core... and will be higher grade then the current foam core.

Jen Gilanfar will also have her own graphic out and it was designed by her... so that should hit fairly soon too.

Lots of new things in the works... some new shapes and designs by end of summer...
