tad, I'm drawing a blank on one of them but the Red Bull video is like that (but yes, it's wakeboarding and 'skating) as is NARLA.

Toxis, wakeskating videos are more then just tricks. i personally love to see creative filming/editing and intros to give the video a unique feel that. narla had so much feeling and emotion in it. i think it was the perfect length, no filler needed.

i rather have a 20 minute video of creativity with different locations, tricks, and angles then a 50 minute video of 3 shuvs and kickflips.

also after about 30 minutes I am pumped up enough to go ride. narla is the pefect legnth to watch before i head out the door to head to the delta.

this isnt for all you jock wakeskaters

Narla was hot. If you don't get pumped after watching Danny, Thomas and Aaron, then I don't know what to tell you.. start wakeboarding.

Intro's are pretty important to wakeskate vids, in my opinion. (Or any action sport vid for that matter) It's a way for the editor to get creative and pump up the viewer with a little bit of each rider.

I was a little drunk, but Fun Boots! didn't seem much longer than NARLA, and the intro was epic.

While I totally agree with what you guys are saying, it still needs to be a bit longer IMO. Look at Transgression. That thing is a full length movie and it is the most creative video to date. Gorgeous movie, amazing sound track... it's almost perfect.

BTW, I do wakeboard but only 1/3rd the time... if that. I prefer skating now that I've experienced the beauty.

Most team videos tend to be a little different as well, ie shorter because of rosters and such. Narla was bad to the bone, as was linear and sfumato (both of which were on the shorter side), but I'm definitely looking forward to funboots.

yep, nowadays it's the skate vibe that's going to keep the kids skating. it surely isn't affordabilty with most high end wakeskates costing the same as pro model wakeboards. OMG; WTF? NVR MND!
