Mk so im ready to start planning some trips and i want to hear about your best roadtrip and where you went.
Mine has to be driving to Cali with my brother. 2 16hr days, we made it from Knoxville to Amarillo TX on the first day. Then went to the Canyon and the Meteor the next day. Long trips across America FTW. |

POPTART, We stayed at Bahia Honda. It's a really nice park with campgrounds right on the beach, boat ramp, bathhouse, etc. It's cool because it's on it's own island but driving places for food and stuff is about 30 minutes north or south. There are a bunch of camp grounds in the Keys though so it really depends on where you want to be at. _________________ -Paul |

Two week road trip from Half Moon Bay (near San Fransisco) to San Diego, the whole way along the coast of California. Stopping at skate spots, winch spots, amazing surf breaks, waterfalls, state parks, beaches with insane cliffs...etc. One of the coolest trips I've ever been on... _________________ √ |

2 week road trip through the southeast, all through north Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, in October was absolutely beautiful and one of the craziest all winch trips I have ever been on. _________________ www.jimizwakenskate.com

The last road trip I went on was in July, we took 1 car with 7 people and a Malibu, and a truck with 2 more people packed to the brim with food and beer. We drove like 5-6 hours north to lake Ouachita in Arkansas where we stayed for the first two days in a cabin on the lake. The third day we boarded our house boat we rented and docked the malibu on the back of it, as stayed there for the rest of the week.
that was a kick ass trip
oh and we had a hotdog machine cooking hotdogs for the whole time on the houseboat as well as a margarita machine..it was excellent _________________ if theres no future in it, at least theres a present worth remembering.

When I was younger we loaded up the van and drove from Mission Viejo (southern) California to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Took 2 weeks and we stopped at a bunch of sweet places. That was pretty rad. Also me and Joe went to Florida for a weekend and ended up staying for 3 weeks, that was pretty good too. _________________ I'm no scientist, but I do drink a lot of booze. |

Part road trip, part flying.. a few years back me and slothboy420 went on a ten day trip. Our friend was living in Breckenridge but we couldn't find any Philly to Denver flights..
So we started by driving from Philly to Baltimore, got on a plane in Baltimore and flew to Salt Lake City. Rented a car and drove like 12 or 14 hours to Breckenridge. Stayed there for eight days of snowboarding, we hit like five different mountains. Left Breck and drove back to Salt Lake, stayed overnight at an old friends house downtown. Next morning got on a plane, flew back to Baltimore, got our car and drove back to Philly
So I think it took like 20 hours from my house to Breck lol. _________________ ------------------------------------------------------

one of my favorite was a few years ago.... i was partying in atlanta for new years until my cousin "kyle41" calls me around midnight on new years day asking if i wanted to go snow boarding.... i said hell yea and he said he was on his way lol.... 8 hours later ( 8 am) him and 2 friends were in the taco out in front of the place i was staying.... we then drove the other 7 hours up... stayed in a motel 6 and maxed out credit cards on rentals, food, lift tickets, hotel, and beer.... stayed 3 days or so and just shredded all day and night..... so much fun until driving back at 3 am crashing off of energy drinks ....

Definitely an awesome trip but I'd have to say my most amazing road trip was a 3.5 week expedition to the Arctic Circle in Europe in 1999. The sights were amazing, I can't even describe it. Started and ended the trip in Slovakia.. over 10,000 miles round trip on a school bus from there to Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and up to the northern point of Norway and back. Sleeping in tents on the side of the road and on a glacier one night. Saw a ton of capital cities and other major cities and hiked to the most northern point in Europe (the goal of the trip). You thought Florida had bad mosquitoes? You have never experienced mosquitoes until you've been above the arctic circle in summertime! The sun never sets, and neither do the bugs! _________________ chance favors the prepared mind |

| Been onsome really good ones in my times,35 states so far, but I'm pretty damn sure my best one yet is coming up in April of this year. 4-5 of my best friends and I are doing a full on Hellride to the west coast and a bunch of places in between. Lots of campin, lots of skatin, lots of partying, and lots of chaos. The only rules are no hotels, eat cheap, drink cheap, and raise hell. Starting in S. FL, goin to Boulder to see some friends and family. Over to Portland via the northern route. Stay there with some friends for a few days, session Burnside and some other parks, and just check out the scene, maybe even get to Mt. Hood for some boarding. Take the coast route from Northern Oregon all the way to San Fran, hittin up mass parks and campin along the way. Chill in SF for a couple of days with some friends and go nuts. Again take the coast route all the way down to Pismo, with stops in Santa Cruz to hopefully surf the Lane and skate Derby, and in Big Sur to hopefully surf my favorite wave ever. Chill with a friend in Pismo then on to Santa Barbara to crash at another friends and hopefully catch some good waves at Rincon, Faria's or Emma Wood. Haul ass right thru the cesspool that is helLA and on to the City of Sin. Everyone knows what goes on in Vagas so no xplanation needed, except we will break the rule of no hotels for that one. After that check out the Grand Canyon and then it is on to our final destination before home, the Big Easy, New Orleans. One of the guys on the trip grew up there so we'll check out his old stompin grounds and just party down.. It's a lot of stuff to do in just a couple of weeks but well worth it. Every day will be a new adventure and taken at full throttle. Can't wait! |
