Hmm I got an idea about no complys. Probably really stupid but just kinda thinking out loud here. I was thinking if your getting pulled by a boat and it has a tube behind a boat that had a platform on it and something to give it weight so it wont flip and maybe do a w2w no comply 180 or move it in the flats and be creative. Feel free to laugh at me I'm just brain storming.
Edit: Post all your ideas about progressing wakeskating with new off the wall ideas.

One of the most beautiful things about wakeskating... there's no rules that say you can't (except physics, if you believe in such a thing), you are free to ride your wakeskate in any way you want.

Just remember there's a difference between a footplant and a no comply

thats what im getting stuck on when trying to think up a way for this to work.
maybe if going about it on an i/o style....like on a small flat tube close to the edge of the wake, cutting out and poppin down just as the front of the board gets to the tube, maintaining the edge, sliding front foot off the board onto the tube and leveling with the back foot. maybe itll be enough to clear the tube...idk, thats all i can think of right now..

dude ideas and brainstorming is what wakeskating was made from. someone said "dude how crazy would it be if we took the bindings off a wakeboard?" and look at it now. |
